how to set up dial up connection by mobile

WindowsXP Creating a Dial-Up Connection for Mobile device
1. Click on the [Start] button.
2. Click on the [Control Panel].
3. Click on the [Network and Internet Connections]
under the [Pick a category].
4. Click on the [Network Connections] icon.



5. Click on the [Create a new connection] under
the [Network Tasks].
6. Click on the [Next] button.
7. Select [Connect to the Internet].
8. Click on the [Next] button.



9. Select [Set up my connection manually].
10. Click on the [Next] button.
11. Select [Connect using a dial-up modem].
12. Click on the [Next] button.
13. Select a device for mobile connection that you
are using from the [Select the devices to use in
this connection].
Note: You may not have this option if only a single
modem device is installed into your computer.






15. Type a connection name for this OCN
connection in the [ISP name]. (e.g. OCN)
16. Click on the [Next] button.
17. Type a mobile connection access number in
the [Phone number].
Note: The mobile connection access number varies
depending on your mobile connection service.
Please enter a compatible access number that is
suited for your mobile connection service.



18. Click on the [Next] button.
19. Type your OCN User ID in the [User name].
20. Type your OCN User Password in the
[Password].
21. Type your OCN User Password again in the
[Confirm Password].
22. Click on the [Next] button.

24. Click on the [Properties] button.



25. Click on the [Networking] tab.

26. Select “PPP: Windows 95/98/NT4/2000,
Internet” from the [Type of dial-up server I
am calling].

27. Check on the [Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)].
28. Select [Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)], then click
on the [Properties] button.

29. Check on the [Obtain an IP address
automatically].
30. Check on the [Use the following DNS server
addresses].


31. Type OCN primary DNS server address in the
[Preferred DNS server]. (e.g. 211.129.14.138)

32. Type OCN secondary DNS server address in
the [Alternate DNS server]. (e.g.
211.129.12.47)

Note: You may have different OCN DNS server
addresses. In that case, please enter the DNS
server addresses that you have.
33. Click on the [OK] button.

34. Click on the [OK] button.


35. Verify your OCN User ID in the [User name].

36. Verify your mobile connection access number
in the [Dial] box.
37. Click on the [Dial] button.
38. Once the connection is established, the
indicator will appear on the task bar.
Note: The indicator may not appear even if the
connection is established.
